But hey, enough about me. I am here to let you know that Jonathan is taking a week off as he prepares to go worldwide with his radio shows, "The Lopsided World Of L" on Saturday morning September 30, and his Sunday night edition on October 1st. The shows are live and that Sunday night he has Frank Black of The Pixies in the radio studio live to begin the show. Should be fun.

September 22 Joan Jett I chose to run this photo of my dear friend, not because it was from the blonde hair era, I just love it when Joan smiles. It lights up any room. It's a great photograph. One of the legends of Rock & Roll was born today in 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joan rose to fame in the 1970s all-girl rock band The Runaways. Her cover of "I Love Rock and Roll" was a num- ber one hit in 1982; "Crimson and Clover" was another hit for her. Joan has appeared as Columbia in the Broadway production of "The Rocky Horror Show". She started her own record label, "Blackheart Records", because no one else would sign them. Though there have been several attempts to reunite Joan's old band, the Runaways, Jett has stated that they always fall apart because former bandmate, Lita Ford, walks out on the rehearsals. Ford is usually the instigator of the reunions. Ranked #32 on VH1's 100 Great- est Women of Rock N Roll. Should be ranked higher. Her single, "I Love Rock And Roll" went to #1 on the Billboard charts in 1982. Birth name Joan Marie Larkin. After her parents divorced she changed her last name to Jett, her mo- ther's maiden name. Has apperaed on TV and in movies. Her songs have been in over films. Joan now lives on Long Island and is still out on the road constanly performing. The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland will commit a crime if Joan is not inducted sooner than later. Her latest album "Sinner" is a must buy!

She grew up listening to our songs and always being with us when we were playing in house. Now she is not with us but I'm sure that she is always listening to us playing hard !!! Sharon United Kingdom www.myspace.com/latuskie
SHARON SAYS: I'm not a pet lover. Yet, if it was an animal... then a cat.
BECK SAYS: My two babies are Gabrielle & T-Bug. They are Siamese and they are now ten years old.
They are very intelligent and most of the time well behaved. I absolutely adore my cats! A song that might remind me of my cats would be something like... Blind Melon "No Rain".
JERICHO SAYS: I had a cat til I had to move named Arsenal. She was awesome.
Song, I would have to say "She's A Rebel" by Green Day. September 21 Nicole Richie Talented or talentless? That is a question that you can decide the answer. KEREN SAYS: Sorry I don't have any pets...just the kids!!
But the song that sums them up is "Mama We're All Crazy Now". by Slade. Nicole United Kingdom www.myspace.com/babybotox
NICOLE SAYS: I have 2 cats. Skunk & Nansie! They are both complete opposites. Nansie is female, long light grey fur, big paws, lady like, curls up quaintly on your lap and is scared of the slightest movement.
Skunk is female Tabby cat that thinks it's a he...and a dog. Skunk wags her tail, sleeps on her back and waits for you to rub her belly, plays fetch (no joke) and constantly wants to play fight with Nansie who has none of it and holds her at bay with one of her huge paws!
Always wanted a Boxer dog though, but Skunk is enough to handle for now...
PS: Jonathan, there is a picture of Skunk on my myspace. Phil Buckeye Arizona www.myspace.com/phizzle82
PHIL SAYS: I'm a cat person, totally. My cat is Lupita "El Gato Teimpo" and she wears a dangling wristwatch instead of a collar.
We keep her indoors to avoid losing her and of course my watch. I'm glad you asked about a song that describes my pet! I've been waiting for someone to actually understand this concept!
Her song is "Cruel and Pretty" by Over The Rhine. It's a sorta lazy, relaxed, sentimental romancy sorta song. Just like my cat. Man, I enjoyed this question. Are you going to give us YOUR answer? JONATHAN: Yes I will, now that you asked. I was a dog person for many years. My favorite was "Uncle Miltie", a hunting dog that lived 12 and half years. When he passed, I took it hard. I decided not to get another dog at least until I'm ready. We also have a cat Ollie. She was with us when Miltie was still alive. Someone threw her out of a two story building, and I picked her up and took her home. She was declawed, so I had to keep her in the house at all times. That was 17 years ago. She is a Maine Coon. She is still alive and perky. Actually she is the 'queen' of the house. -lol Tracey United Kingdom www.myspace.com/traceybibby
TRACEY SAYS: Hi Jonathan! Well, I'm definately a meow type girl!!
I have a 14-month old silver Tabby, her name is Spud and as well as the general silver Tabby markings, she has a ginger splodge on the top of her head - it never fades and we can always distinguish her from the local cats because of it.
We have also got a 7-week kitten, she is jet black with gorgeous green eyes, we only got her on monday and have called her smokie.
Unfortunately Spud is very jealous. :o(
September 20 Maggie Cheung Possably the best Chinese actress of all-time. Maggie Cheung was born in 1964, in Hong Kong, and moved at the age of eight with her family to England. After finishing secondary school, she returned to Hong Kong, where she began modeling and app- earing in commercials. In 1983 she participated in the Ms. Hong Kong pageant, win- ning first runner-up, which proved not to be a detriment since she went on to become a star of both Hong Kong television and film. Her parents are Shanghainese. While she cannot speak the dialect, she understands it. Wanted to be a hairdresser as a child. In Hong Kong, she has been handed every role she has played since she was 18 with- out an audition. The first Chinese actress ever to win the Best Actress award at the Berlin International Film Festival (1992 - for Yuen Ling-yuk) and Cannes Film Festival (2004 - for Clean). Grew up in Bromley, Kent, when she lived in the UK. Acted in 6 movies with Brigitte Lin Ching Hsia, whom she considered her idol and an actress she respected. Declined lead role in "Memoirs of a Geisha" because of racial sensitivity be- tween the Japanese and the Chinese, due to WWII. Although an icon of Asian cinema, she is actually a European with extended residence in Hong Kong. Played 'Flying Snow' in "Hero", but my personal reccomendation is to view "Irma Vep", a French film spoken in French with English subtitles. But Maggie speaks in English, and seems to not really know what's going on. It's amazing art film, and a must see. Has been in over 60 movies.
Birthday's today: John Easdale (Dramarama), Alannah Currie (Thompson Twins), Gary Cole, Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Jason Bay, Sophia Loren, Guy Lafleur Jani Wickholm, Kristin Johnson, Crispin Glover, Arn Anderson, Chris Doridas, Anne Meara, Gunnar & Matthew Nelson, Dr.Joyce Brothers, Greg Valentine, Jeff Jones (Red Rider), Pia Lindstrom, Aimee Graham, Camilla Rutherford Q of THE WEEK continues: (Scroll down to Monday)
SUZI SAYS: Definitely a Woof kind of girl. Favorite dog(s) Cameron and Chaps. Both were German Shepards. They were guard dogs for our 3-1/2 acre little ranch, so that when the kids were out riding on the motocross track down in the front yard, the dogs would help protect them from the javelina, coyotes, bobcats, pack- rats, rattlesnakes etc.,.
Chaps had bad hips, so we got Cameron to take his place. He was supposed to be my dog, listen to my commands; but the minute he saw my son Sean he fell in love. He'd sit by the door when he left for school, sit under his feet at the dinner table. Run along beside him on the mx track in the yard.
One day I was walking through the house and didn't see Cameron laying by the door pouting, and I panicked. I knew something was wrong. I ran out the door and saw cars pulling off along the bike trail by the house. I jumped in the box van and drove out the gate, and he lay in the middle of the road with Chaps on the side of the road. He looked at me, with the exception of a small trickle of blood coming out of his nose he looked fine.
I wrapped him in a batman sleeping bag from the back of the box van and flew to the vets, calling from my cell to let them know I was on my way. When I got there they took him in, and within moments they came out to say he'd died of massive internal injuries. We waited till he got home from school to burry Cameron on the property. Sean got home, saw him and laid down on the sleeping bag beside him. That day both our hearts broke.
Song that reminds me of Cameron & Sean, "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. Silverose United Kingdom www.myspace.com/silverose65
ROSE SAYS: I have a very fat Ginger cat called Harvey. He's fat because I love him and feed him far too much food.
But it's his fault because he sits by his food drawer, and gives me that 'I'm hungry' look. It makes me feel guilty.
We joke that soon we'll have to grease his sides just so he can get out through his catflap. When we are really cruel, we say he may need a skateboard to support his belly, and to help him move about.
I don't actually have a song that makes me think of my cat. Sorry! Christa (aka Keepsta) Phoenix Arizona www.myspace.com/kreepsta
CHRISTA SAYS: We have a lot of feline friends. I call it my Pussy Farm. Something my nephew had come up with when he was visting us for the summer. I thought it was a hilarous comment. But anyways WE have FIVE cats or we could of had SIX. OMG!..yea!
The first one his name is Cody. He is a beautiful Long haired male. Looks like Slyvester. But, he stares at us like we are his "HERO". So everytime FOO FIGHTER's comes on the radio. Theres Cody's song.
The second is Casper. He passed away this spring. We was a Orange tipped Siamese. But everytime Nirvana comes on the radio. We think this band pertains to him in his mouring.
Third is Bubbas. He looks like Morristhe cat. Fat and sqeaky. When U pick him up he make a sqeak noise. But anything that Fear Factory sings some how the boys in my hows use his name in the song while they are singing it.
The next two came together, My aunt found them. They were strays. So we took them in. Zera name was actually Zero. We thought she was a boy. But, the name came from Black Sabbath's "ZERO THE HERO", because she has this white ring on her back.
Dino came from Dino Carazes. We like him because he a great guitarist from a couple of bands we like. Brujuria, Fear Factory and Asessino. These two are both black/gray Tabby's.
The last girl is Meesha she is a Calico. We haven't thought of a song. But my son said give her the song from Elton John. "The Bitch Is Back". LOL
Well, this was my list of my feline companions. Whew! Sorry I dont have any pictures. There is one on my pic profile. But that is Meesha and Casper (RIP). Ali Taylor Vocalist Los Angeles California www.myspace.com/alitaylorla

Ummm so I don't have any pet's but, a Lion would be my favorite animal, because it's so fierce.
September 19 Lita Ford The former Runaway was born in London, England in 1958. Taking up the guitar at age 11, she joined the all-girl band "The Runaways". Judy
She had been dumped on the street and been wanderin' for couple months they think. She is such fun, but a bit crazy, so suits me to a tee!! lol Eric New York www.myspace.com/ecoli2000
ERIC SAYS: Time I responded to one of these:
I have two pet rats: Persa is small and charcoal grey with little pink hands and ears and nose. Zurina is albino with a real great memory and very affectionate (both are).
Rats are smart little animals that know their owners, remember things, and are clean!
There is no such thing as a dirty rat, just a dirty rat owner. Betz Scottsdale Arizona www.myspace.com/betzpoley
BETZ SAYS: Woof - woof definitely. What a great question - I love talking about my puppy!!!
Her name is Pucci (pronounced Poochie). She's an 8-month old Yorkie-Poo and coincidentally there's a "designer" pet clothing line called...Pucci Designer Petwear - but that's not how we named her.
She loves getting her picture taken, she has a little underbite that's so adorable, loves people and not so much other dogs.
The song that best describes her is "Lady (you bring me up)" (Commodores) - lyrics are somewhat fitting. She always make me laugh when I'm having a bad day. Another one to describe her is "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" (honky tonkin' song by Travis Tritt) because she's always getting into everything!!!!!!
My puppy's the shit!
September 18 Alison Lohman The young actress is a native of and born in Palm Springs, California in 1979. She grew up in a family with no showbiz connections but she always wanted to perform. New Q of THE WEEK: A WOOF & MEOWOR? Are you a pet lover? Describe your pet; name, male, female, and anything you would like to describe about your favorite animal(s).
JANE SAYS: Hi Jonathan. Yes, I love pets, but I don't have any at the moment.
However, if it wasn't cruel, I would love to keep a squirrel. Sounds an odd choice, but when I was 4 years old, I have memories of re- covering from a heart operation. Looking out of the window in the recuperation ward, I remember seeing lots of squirrels in the grounds outside.
CATH SAYS: Well, my dog is a cross yorkie/westie. She's 6-years old.
I've had her just over a year. Her last owner mistreated her. When we had her she was dirty, her fur was matted and cowering as if she's been hit a lot.
But, now with us she is spoilt rotten and doesn't cower away any more, and is a very playful but loving dog. Her name is Jessie!
Song to describe her. "We Will Rock You" by Queen, coz that dog totally ROCKS! September 17 Cassandra Peterson Cassandra Peterson, Elvira's alter ego, was born in Manhattan, Kansas in 1949, and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She remembers always being a fan of Ann-Margret. Since Cassandra saw her in Viva Las Vegas (1964), she wanted to be a dancer. Just days after graduating from high school, Cassandra traveled to Las Vegas where, at the age of 17, she became the youngest showgirl in Las Vegas history. When Elvis Presley saw her per- form he encouraged her to pursue a singing career. She toured Europe extensively as lead singer for an Italian rock band. She settled in Rome, where she became fluent in Italian. Here Cassandra met Federico Fellini, who cast her in his classic film, Roma (1972). Return- ing to the US, Cassandra formed her own nightclub review, "Mama's Boys", which toured the national club circuit. In the late 1970s she joined the satiric improvisational troupe, The Groundlings, which also produced such stars as Paul Reubens (aka "Pee Wee Herman"). There she honed her now renowned comedic skills as both a writer and performer. Film and television appearances such as Cheech & Chong's Next Movie (1980) and others followed, but Cassandra was just the typical struggling actress and spent years wondering where her next meal was coming from. It was the fall of 1981, with the birth of her character, Elvira, that it all changed. While she has since played herself in many film and television shows, Cassandra ultimately combines her numerous talents into an intriguing persona which has not only be- come a Halloween icon, but a "vamp" for all seasons. Is a natural redhead. Although she has appeared in nude layouts, she has never appeared nude as the Elvira character.

2. HANGING BACKSTAGE WITH THE ROLLING STONES Not so much because there are too much noise, too many people and I would get bored. LOL

ROCKIN SAYS: Okay, I'm gonna sound like a moron, I have no idea what Ibiza is. Guess I would have to pick The Stones. I'm not a very religous person either. Kathaleen Rancho Cordova California www.myspace.com/celestianna
KATHALEEN SAYS: Well finally an easy one. Although raised a devout Catholic (not practicing for a very long while) I really have no interest in meeting the Pope. I think he is a Conehead in disguise. I mean why else wear a hat like that.
Met the Rolling Stones and had a sit and chatted it up with them for a bit so been there done that. They are some of the most facinating people on the face of this planet. I don't care what you say about them.
Although my partying days are over I would have to go with the Ibiza answer. Especially just to meet new facesand see new places. I have done and seen alot, but haven't been here.
Anyway there you have my answer short and to the point Pauly Radio Personality Clarksville Tennessee www.myspace.com/paulysucks
PAULY SAYS: You mean Keith isn't the Pope? David Sadoff Radio Personality Houston Texas www.myspace.com/thelastdj
DAVID SAYS: Jonathan, That's an easy one. I would choose hanging backstage with The Rolling Stones for the opportunity to meet them and hopefully hear some first-hand stories, especially from Keith if he can still remember any.
I imagine Charlie probably has the best stories since he's the quiet one.
As for the other choices, it was really no contest. The rave scene (they probably don't even call it that any more) isn't my thing, and I don't think the Pope and I would have that much to talk about. Joe Tempe Arizona www.myspace.com/76344760
JOE SAYS: Personally, I would rather go backstage at a Soundgarden show, but the Rolling Stones will have to suffice.

KEREN SAYS: lol...not really much to choose from there.
I would have to go for number 1, as that sounds the most fun.
2. Sorry boys but just not my cup of tea, however if it were Aerosmith then I'd be there like a shot.
3. I'm reading Angels n Demons at the moment by Dan Brown, all about the catholic church v the illuminati...and I know this will upset a few people, but the Catholic Church has far too much power, and are so out of touch with the real world.
JONATHAN: Lu, I couldn't bare to run that photo. I'm sorry. An old b/w photo as a young Catholic School girl might give some of the guys reading this the wrong idea. Know what I mean? -lol ;-)

MARIE SAYS: Hello Jonathan. I would choose HANGING BACKSTAGE WITH THE ROLLING STONES!
I am sure one night backstage with these rock legions would be the ultimate dream of a life time for a groupie. Since I never had the pleasure or the time to be a groupie, I probably wouldn't get on there nerves as bad. And, we would hang out tell stories, oh and yeah of course party.
I have been to so many parties all my life and after awhile they aren't as fun but I would say this could be the ultimate party ex- perience of all-time!!!
RAMONA SAYS:HANGING BACKSTAGE WITH THE ROLLING STONES!
C'mon your talkin' 'bout The Stones here. One of the best of all time. The Stones presented a rebellious, sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll life style image that many other bands continue to emulate to this day, and you know what more can you ask for! I say: "Satisfaction Baby"

Anyday in Spain has some nice potential for a party. Right now, I've flown the coupe of marriage, so of course I would like to camp out in Spain and sample all of the fine wine.

TRACEY SAYS: Ok, well for me it would have to be the Ibiza Party Weekend, simply because I am not a Stones fan, and I am totally not religious. He may be iconic to some, but to me, the Pope is just an ordinary bloke with a big hat!
So although as a rule I am not a party animal, I think that would be the choice I'd enjoy most out of the three options. :o) Shawn RockRadio Personality Manhattan Kansas www.myspace.com/cherrybombd71

September 11 Tiffany Shepis Voluptuous New York-born beauty Tiffany Shepis (1979) has become a princess of scream. In her films she often upstages more seasoned actresses and has some great dance grooves. Can be seen at shows like Chiller and will obviously make the move from indie schlock to mainstream films as time goes on and a good agent looks after her career. She been involved in filmmaking since the ripe old age of 12 and has appeared in numerous videos with people like Lil Zane, Wu Tang Clan, Dexter Holland, Run DMC and Destiny's Child video "Nasty Girl", but this particular video was never re- leased. Tiffany also shot a spot for Nintendo but it was pulled for being too (Janet Jackson-like) raunchy. She loves blood and gore but detests violence and is a very good reason why men prefer brunettes. She has appeared in over 40 films.

Hmmmmm? Multiple Choice Question:
1. WEEKEND IN IBIZA PARTYING 2. HANGING BACKSTAGE WITH THE ROLLING STONES 3. A VISIT TO THE VATICAN & MEET THE POPE
JANE SAYS: Yikes this is a hard one. I would have to say number three.
I would love to go to the Vatican City and meet the Pope. I am Catholic so it would be such an honor ro meet and talk to the Pope. Dana Cologne/Kln, Germany www.myspace.com/danacolonia
DANA SAYS: Hi Jonathan, thanks for this "simple" Thursday morning question.
Where is the option "watching wales in Hawaii"?
Ok, if I would really get the chance to meet the Pope, I would do it, no question. Not because I am religious, but I am not interested in hanging out in a sweaty backstage room with the Stones.
And I can go to Ibiza anytime I want to with a cheap German airline.
But when ever do I get a chance to see the Pope? Last year he was only a few meters far away from where I work when he visited Germany. I only could enter the street with a special licence, passport etc. So answer Nr. 1 it is.
ROSE SAYS: Hello Jonathan, Well, I think it would have to be 'backstage with the Rolling Stones'.
Now you want to know why don't you?
The party one was appealing, but I love being backstage. I love the atmosphere. so, even though I'm not that keen maybe on the Rolling Stones, I would go for that one.
Is that okay? Can you give some other options next time please.
CARA SAYS: Hey doll. I hope u are going well!! I can't answer that? I just would rather stay at home w/ my cats or garden I'm such a dork!!! ox Cara

Why the Pope and not The Stones? Well, the Pope is in Italy! You know what else is in Italy? Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael (not the Ninja Turtles), Bottecelli, Perugino, Ghirlandaio, Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini. Do I need to go on?
CATHY SAYS: Since I have no idea where Ibiza is I'm gonna say there.
Sounds exotic and would love to go somewhere new to go partying and meet new people.
Wouldn't mind hanging out backstage especially if it was Nickelback or Bon Jovi instead of Rolling Stones. haha.

GABI SAYS: Hanging backstage with the Rolling Stones.
As an up and coming photographer there'd be plenty of photo opportunities. A 'big name band' photos behind me and lots of contacts around in the business to chat to and get myself a possible foot-hold or further contacts. Alex Falkirk Scotland www.myspace.com/alextgirl
ALEX SAYS: Another really easy one for me to answer hunny. OK in reverse order, I'm not a great fan of religion, as I see far too many people using it as an excuse to harm their neighbours with differing beliefs, so meeting the Pope actually does nothing for me (although I expect he would be a very nice guy).
The Rolling Stones were hip well before my time, and again their music is not my taste, so meeting them is not on my top ten list.
My choice would indeed be a weekend partying in Ibiza, because I'm a clubbing chic by heart, and Ibiza is the clubbing capital of the whole wide world. That is why I'm actually going there on Saturday for a full fab week on holiday with my best buddy Steffi. I can't wait!!!! Lol. Luv, Alex. xxx Doug Rock Editor Hollywood California www.myspace.com/8728706
DOUG SAYS: Hang with the Pope.
Why? Well, I've hung with plenty of rockstars and done plenty of Ibiza-like partying so I really need to speak with the Pope about my behavior. Dig?
MICHELLE SAYS: A weekend in Ibiza partying. Fun, sun, drinks and great people. What more could I ask for?
September 6 Nina Persson Nina Elisbet Persson was born in Jnkping, Jnkpings ln, Sweden in 1974. Wonderfully talented vocalist and lyricist, primarily with Swedish band 'The Cardigans'. Always interested in music (she plays harmonica, some guitar, piano and drums), she joined The Cardigans in 1992. The band had formed in Jonkoping, Sweden after guitarist Peter Svensson met the extremely tall Mag- nus Sveningsson playing in a hardcore group. The two were heavy metal fans but had tired of this and decided to form a pop band. They knew Persson from Art College and the line-up was completed by keyboard player Lars-Olaf Johan- sson and drummer Bengt Lagerberg. Signed to the Stockholm label, `The Card- igans' debut album `Emmerdale' (1994) (named in tribute to the British television show "Emmerdale Farm" (1972). After being featured in Baz Luhrmann Romeo + Juliet (1996), the song `Lovefool' rocketed the band to international stardom. The Cardigans loved the game Gran Turismo so much that they named their fourth album after it.

I'm not religious. And, it's the Beatles for me not the Stones. Cyndi Bristol Connecticut www.myspace.com/cexyfariegirlcyndi
CYNDI SAYS: O yeah OK. #2. HANGING BACKSTAGE WITH THE ROLLING STONES.
Because they have had soooo many experiences and awesome times, I would love to chat about them and party all night long.
I'm sure that would be a night to remember. Really have to give the Stones alot of credit to still keep going. Hey, who wants to quit parting anyway?
Alot of people make fun of them because they still sing and do concerts. If they feel good doing it...what can be the harm?
JANE SAYS: Well, for me it would definately be hanging backstage with the Rolling Stones. Reason being, I absolutely adore going to rock gigs and drinking and partying with 'raawk stars' when I'm there.
I get a real buzz out of it. It's so good to find that most people I've met are very down to earth and up for a giggle! :)
LIANE SAYS: I pick going to the Vatican and meeting the Pope.
Why? Because I've never been to Italy, but have many friends who live there...and I think it would be incredible to meet the Pope...though I'm not Catholic (Lutheran...which is close to being Catholic) :) It would be an experience of a lifetime, and a dream of mine to go to Italy (eventually I'll make it there) ;)
Have a great weekend J Liane

MARINA SAYS: Hi Jonathan. Thats easy , OF COURSE "Hanging backstage with the Rolling Stones would rock and I would be networking backstage for the Alternative Rock band Im managing in the UK (SUBDIVINE), but hanging back stage with the Rolling Stones would not change anything in the grand scheme of things.
The music business is what it is and will always be, because very few bands manage to revolutionise the industry, but if I had the option to visit the Pope I would take it and I would tell him that God/The CENTRAL POWER of all Universes is and will always be wayyyyy ABOVE all religions, because the power God has very much transcends all religions.
For too many years the world has been dominated by religions , the true Spiritual Truth is that we do not need religions to have faith, we need positive thinking to attract positive things and successful, joyful results into our lives, so many people have miserable lives because their constant negativity attracts negative outcomes and negative results.
I would get the Pope to make the world realise with his level of influence, that we all need to be more positive to create those positive outcomes, because all positive energy contributes to the world's energy to balance all energies, to make this world what it is suppose to be for all of us. No religion can do that for us, that should be our heart and mind's own free choice. Every single thought we have is a decree of creation and we create our own realities with our way of thinking, WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN , IS WHAT YOU WILL VERY CERTAINLY MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE. Hopefully after hearing all that, the Pope will smile.
All the best to you for all your future projects Jonathan. Have a great weekend and BE positive.:) xMarina
JONATHAN: Well Marina, you sure make a case for a beautiful woman, that a brain can be just as dynamic as looks. Thanks. :-)
MARISKA SAYS: Hi Jonathan, I would like to visit the Pope because for me it would be a spiritual happening.
An experience of great inner developement and clarity in oneself. And the fact I could take advantage and visit Florence would be a extra added bonus.
I would revel in the history and richness of it all. Sorry to be so droll. I cannot help myself...peace to all. JONATHAN: I don't see it as droll at all. I gave 3 choices, and yours was the Pope, over the Stones and partying in Ibiza. Each to her or his own. Right? ;-)
NICOLE SAYS: Well, I pick partying because I love people and who doesn't like a party?
As the others go well, not a huge fan of the Rolling Stones. I like 'em but not enough to want backstage passes. Now if it was Tool, definately.
Now the Pope and the Vataican, well I'm not a real relgious person even tho I was raised a Catholic so besides the scenery that wouldn't interest me much.

September 2 Salma Hayek The amazing Salma Hayek was born in 1966, in the oil boomtown of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. Hayek has freely admitted that she and her brother Sami were spoiled rot- ten by her well-to-do Lebanese-Mexican businessman father and her Mexican-born opera-singing mother. After having seen Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, 1971 in a local movie theatre, Salma decided she wanted to become an actress. Her edu- cation included a stint at a New Orleans convent school. Only after attending Mexico City's Universidad Iberoamericana did she feel ready to pursue acting seriously. She soon landed the title role in "Teresa" (1989), a hugely successful soap opera which earned her the star status in her native Mexico. However, anxious to make films and to explore her talent and passion, Hayek left both "Teresa" (1989) and Mexico in 1991. Heartbroken fans spread rumors that she was having a secret affair with Mexico's pre- sident and left to escape his wife's wrath. Feeling under-appreciated by Anglo film- makers, Hayek vented her frustrations on comedian Paul Rodriguez's late-night Spanish- language talk show in 1992. A special thank you: hello Jonathan, for your support. I would like to think you have helped us get our album Mescaline released worldwide from today, through Amazon, play.com, Virgin, Hmv, etc. Plus "Silver Buddha" is on the new game Test Drive Unlimited, out September 9th, as played on your show. Just shows you have a great ear for tune. Many thanks, Sean
Love in AM: I use to sleep in on Saturdays, until my husband got me hooked on your show. He gets up in the am to listen to you and play his Gran Turizmo.
I must say you have very awesome taste in music.
I think YOU PLAY BETTER MUSIC than Holmberg. (Sorry, Holmberg....you can be funny but the choice in his music lately has been disappointing).
I've hearing more of Dear Abby from him about women then playing some REAL music. LOL
Thanks Jonthan L, you make my Saturday mornings full of shineshine! (Now I really don't sound like Kreespta, lol)
JONATHAN: I want to say that after last weeks Q of THE WEEK bomb, I won't deny it, I needed a feel good thing. You both have brightened my spirits, so a humongus cheers and thanks to you Christa and Sean.

*This Q is over. I thought the answers were great, but this one didn't really work with many of you evidentally. Scroll down for all of this week. A fun new Q is on it's way.
KATHALEEN SAYS: As usual you always ask a question I have to think about for awhile.
There are so many factors on first impressions that turn me off. You try your best to impress the person your meeting yet in most cases it turns to be overdoing it. Some aspects are cause from nerves or situations.
Take me for example. It's not that I am a nervous person by nature but meeting new people sometimes has the effect of a train hitting a petrol truck. Two things that happen with me are...my accent (which by norm is there) suddenly morphs into a very thick and heavy lilt and I will as I always do call Bollox when I see it. It leaves the impression that I am Full Irish straight off the boat.
Ok, I am (born in Ireland raised in Scotland but not straight off the boat been here off and on since childhood summers) but still.
To me the biggest turn off is that people dont portray who they really are when they first meet someone. They tend to hold on aspects of themselves until they get to know you. Probably due to fact that most people strive to have friends or to impress. To me it seems like a braggard and I don't like braggard's. This is why I personally reserve to pass judgement on anyone I first meet until I get to know their personality. Thats usually 5-6 times past the first meet. I, also knowing my own downfalls, warn people, first off my accent is usually not this thick and I am not afraid to speak my mind be it good or bad.
My advice to people is this.... BE YOURSELF. It's not what you have or who you "hang" with but the people and family that surround you that make your life worthwhile. Who cares if this ONE person might not like you. There are BILLIONS of people in this world and the technology to reach out. Stop trying to be something you aren't or can't be but it sounds good at the time.
Ok, enough of my rambling.
JONATHAN: That was awesome Kathaleen. You took the question, and really got into it. Cheers. ;-) Fiona United Kingdom www.myspace.com/fiona38
FIONA SAYS: My biggest turn off when I meet someone for the first time in business would be if they shook my hand with a wet limp shake and avoided eye contact!
Turn on would be someone who enters the room, smiles and looks me in the eye when they greet me. Keren Stroud Gloucestershire United Kingdom www.myspace.com/kezisyours
KEREN SAYS: First impressions.Teeth!!!! I can't stand it if a person has rotten teeth. So, a nice smile is a big turn on to me.
MIKE SAYS: The biggest first impression turn OFF: If they are condescending and display with their body language that they are too good for you.
The biggest first impression turn ON: When someone smiles, makes eye contact, refers to me by name, asks questions of something about me and then says a compliment to me in reference to my character as it pertains to what he or she just asked me.

PAULA SAYS: Hi Jonathan. Biggest turnoff mmmm? Well its a toss up really between: talking to my breasts rather than my eyes.
or
Not listening to what I am saying, and interupting me when they have asked me a question.
And the biggest turn on is someone who looks into my eyes for longer than is necessary when first meeting me, if they hold my hand longer than the initial handshake at the same time.
GRETCHEN SAYS: The biggest turn off for me is someone who does a lot of bragging or name-dropping.
I just am not really impressed by it. I think that shows that the person has an insecurity issue.
I'm not friends with people because of who they know but because of who they are. Be yourself! That's my advice. :) Ramona Hope British Columbia Canada www.myspace.com/the0shimagirl
RAMONA SAYS: When I meet someone person to person in the flesh for the first time business or otherwise, my main turn OFF is rudeness.
If the person is rude. Well, there ya go. No second chances.
My mother taught me that kindness matters. I always strive for that belief and hope others do as well. When kindness isn't returned, I feel offended.
CHRISY SAYS: The worse thing they could do is not look me straight in the eyes when talking to me.

NICE TO MEET YOU: When you meet someone- for personal OR business reasons-for the very FIRST time what is the biggest turn-off that person can do to you?
Also, what would be the biggest turn-on? In other words-first impression.
TIDDY SAYS: Greetings from the Isle of Man! There are so many things that annoy me about people that I could write a book lol! I will try to think hard about what annoys me the most though - and I will get back to you!
I can tell you what I do like though - that is easy - a firm hand shake and a kiss on each cheek usually goes down well - a glass of champagne - and continuous eye contact!
Nothing worse when you meet someone for the first time and their eyes are wondering about the room looking for their next victim lol. Elizabeth Avondale Arizona www.myspace.com/fuckasscuntrag
ELIZABETH SAYS: Hmmm...Well now I'd have to say that the biggest turn off is when I introduce myself to someone and that person is very ill mannered and shakes your hand without a firm- ness to it, and doesn't say "nice to meet you"...and looks away when I'm talking. It makes me feel kinda icky.
Turn on-ish on the other hand, someone who's polite and looks you in the eyes when your talking, not the boobs, carries themselves well, makes you feel comfortable. Somethin' like that. Sheila (aka ***We ArE MeAnT tO Be ToGeThEr***) Nunaville Georgia www.myspace.com/grndyfanatic
SHEILA SAYS: Well, the biggest turn off is hygene...they have to look and smell clean.
And, the turn on for me is confidence. That is always a plus...not too cocky though...just enough confidence to be sure of themselves.
